Pool isn’t just our Business — It’s our Family Tradition
It began with a love for the game — passed down through generations.
Cody Moore’s grandfather played pool and serviced tables, laying the foundation for a family tradition built around craftsmanship and respect for the game. Years later, Cody’s father, Danny Moore — an exceptional player respected locally for playing at a near-professional level — turned that passion into a small business, growing it entirely through word of mouth and hard work.
Building something from the ground up.
Cody grew up watching firsthand what it meant to build a business. While studying business in college in Tifton, GA, Cody launched his own pool table service company, turning classroom projects into real-world plans that eventually became Drop Pocket Billiards.
A family legacy built around the game.
Today, Danny Moore plays an important role in the business as Cody’s advisor and partner. While he’s stepped back from doing installations, Danny uses his decades of experience and love for the game when working with customers. When Drop Pocket Billiards purchased Coastal Billiards, it became a certified dealer for the industry’s leading manufacturers, allowing the company to better serve its customers.
