The Right Pool Cue Changes Your Billiards Game.

July 14th, 2009

When you have the right cue in your hand and you hit the balls perfectly, you can feel that it is right. When looking for the right pool cue for you, you must look at a few different factors. First, make sure it is solid and from a reliable company, if it breaks or you have any problems with it you want to make sure you can get it replaced. Pool cues come in different weights and lengths. You will want to make sure that you weight and length that you pick is good for you. Try out a few different weights before you pick the one for you. If you are the kind of player that goes for a more brute force strategy, a heavier cue will give you more momentum; meanwhile a lighter cue will give you a bit more precision. The length should be sufficient for you to be comfortable holding the entire stick with your arms stretched out. This way you can hold it many different ways but still get a lot of power if you hold the whole cue. After you find one that is from a good company and fits you, try it out for a while. You may need to try a few before you find the one you like.
